HKBU School of Communication to hold HKBU-SOPA Award Winners Forum on Tuesday to address the issue of “Investigative Journalism in Asia”


The Department of Journalism of the School of Communication of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) has invited five winners of the Asian media industry's most prestigious award, the SOPA Awards for Editorial Excellence, to share their insights with University members, students, media professionals and the public at the HKBU-SOPA Award Winners Forum to be held between 4 and 8 November.

The five SOPA Award winners visiting HKBU this year are: Mr. Jamil Anderlini, Beijing Bureau Chief of Financial Times; Mr. Ernest Chi, Deputy Editor-in-Chief and investigative team leader of Ming Pao Daily; Mr. Michael Forsythe, Bloomberg News Correspondent in Hong Kong; Mr. Thomas Fuller, Southeast Asia Correspondent for The New York Times; and Mr. Titthara May, National News Editor of The Phnom Penh Post.

A ceremony and public forum will be held on Tuesday to mark the opening of the Forum. Details are as follows:
