International Journalism Student Honoured with Prestigious HKSAR Government Scholarship
Bono Leung Chi-ngai, an International Journalism student, has been awarded the Scholarship for Outstanding Performance under the HKSAR Government Scholarship Fund for the 2024/25 academic year. This recognition places him among 366 exceptional HKBU students celebrated across five distinguished categories: the Belt and Road Scholarship, Talent Development Scholarship, Reaching Out Award, and Endeavour Merit Award.
Bono represented HKBU alongside four fellow student awardees at the official scholarship presentation ceremony, officiated by Dr Choi Yuk-lin, Secretary for Education. Dr Rosa Tang, Deputy Director of Student Affairs, was also in attendance to mark the occasion, which honoured over 2,000 high-achieving students from across Hong Kong.
