HKBU Recognizes Professor Wei Ran and Dr Zhu Yuner with Outstanding Research Output Awards (English Only)

We are thrilled to share that Professor Wei Ran (Associate Dean - Research and Development) and Dr Zhu Yuner (Department of Interactive Media), have been honoured with the inaugural HKBU Outstanding Research Output Awards.

Professor Wei's awarded work is "Miscommunicating the COVID-19 Pandemic: An Asian Perspective," while Dr. Zhu's awarded work is "Privacy Cynicism and Diminishing Utility of State Surveillance: A Natural Experiment of Mandatory Location Disclosure on China's Weibo."

This new initiative by HKBU Research Office celebrates the exceptional research contributions of our University community. The award is designed to recognise and honour outstanding research outputs, emphasising the quality and impact of specific research achievements during the period from 1 July, 2023 to 30 June, 2024.
