Outstanding HKBU students receive Jockey Club scholarships

Five HKBU undergraduate students have been awarded Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships 2020-21 in recognition of their outstanding academic performance and well-rounded development.

The five scholarship recipients are Chen Chi-kiu (Chinese Medicine, Year 3), Hung Yu-ki (Film and Television, Year 3), Leung Hoi-fung (Applied Biology, Year 3), Su Jiayi (Visual Arts, Year 3), and Tse Wing-sze (Music, Year 3).

A total of 45 students received their scholarships at a presentation ceremony on 2 November. Daniel Chan, an HKBU student and bronze medalist in the Badminton Men’s Singles WH2 event at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, was the Guest of Honour. He encouraged all the awardees to cherish what they have, believe in themselves and pursue their dreams.
