Journalism graduate claims Commendation Award in documentary contest
Dominic Law Hong-ting, a recent Chinese Journalism (Broadcast Journalism stream) graduate, won the Commendation Award in the 2019 TVB Inter-Collegiate Documentary Competition. It is the sixth consecutive year that an HKBU student has won an award in this competition. The winning documentary, which was entitled 6430‧Still standing?, is about two Hong Kong people who witnessed the 1989 Tiananmen Square incident in Beijing, and how the event has changed them over the past 30 years.
