Advertising student wins Best Planner Award in Huawei sales competition
John Xu (Advertising and Branding, Year 3) won the Best Planner Award at the 2019 Huawei Sales Elite Challenge Competition for his outstanding sales and marketing proposal. The award was one of the biggest in the competition and was only given to the top five participants.
The competition aims to enrich participating students with actual operational knowledge from the global telecommunications market and strengthen their marketing, brand management and negotiation skills through different challenges. The competition attracted nearly 10,000 university students from Hong Kong, the Mainland and overseas. Only 50 finalists, including John who represented the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau division, were chosen to enter the global final.
