Communication PhD candidate clinches outstanding teaching award
Vincent Huang, a PhD candidate from the School of Communication, received the Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant Award from the Chinese Communication Association at the 69th Annual International Communication Association Conference.
In the past academic year, Vincent was responsible for teaching public speaking at the University and on the postgraduate programme for the School. His nominator Dr Dominic Yeo, an Assistant Professor from the Department of Communication Studies, highly praised Vincent’s teaching performance, and particularly appreciated his teaching effectiveness.
The Conference is widely regarded as one of the most influential conferences in the fields of journalism and communication studies. This year, the conference was held in Washington DC in the US.
