Communication student sweeps awards in entrepreneurship competitions

Jessie Kwok (Financial Journalism, Year 2) and her partners developed an innovative online platform entitled LeDo Ads which enables firms to find offline advertising spaces. The platform has swept numerous awards in entrepreneurship competitions, including the Youth Dare to Change Stand-up Pitch Champion title awarded by the Young Entrepreneurs Development Council, Top 10 Investment Value Award in Hong Kong Trade Development Council Entrepreneur Day STARTHUB 3.0, and the Bronze and Best SME awards in the category of the Best Business Solution in the HKICT Award.

LeDo Ads turns unused offline advertising spaces into productive, cost-effective ones not only for the owners of the spaces who can earn extra income but also for small and medium-sized enterprises with tight budgets seeking to promote their services and products.

Jessie thanked the judges of the competition for their compliments said that the investment capital spent on the platform had already been paid back and it is now earning a small profit. She and the team will work harder to further promote LeDo Ads.
