The Academy of Film organises talk on “Heaven in the Dark”

The Academy of Film (AF) of the School of Communication organised a talk on the upcoming film “Heaven in the Dark” last Tuesday.

The leading actor and actress Mr Jacky Cheung and Ms Karena Lam; Director Mr Steve Yuen and Playwright of the original play, Ms Candance Chong were invited as guest speakers. Mr Yuen explained why the film was named “Heaven in the Dark”, “Heaven is supposed to be holy and full of goodness, but the film tries to explore the dark side of something which appears to be good.”

The talk attracted more than 300 student participants. After broadcasting some highlights of the film, Mr Man Shu-sum, Associate Director of AF, discussed with the guest speakers on the motivation behind making the film.
