Eleven journalism graduates among winners of Hong Kong News Awards 2014
Eleven alumni of the Department of Journalism and the Masters of Arts in International Studies programme were among the winners of the Hong Kong News Awards 2014.
The awards were for Best News Reporting, Best Science News Reporting, Best Arts and Culture News Reporting, Best News Writing (Chinese), Best News Writing (English) and Best Business News Writing (English).
Organized by The Newspaper Society of Hong Kong every year, the Hong Kong News Awards aim to recognize the outstanding achievements of journalists and to raise professional standards. The awards are widely recognized as the most authoritative in Hong Kong.
The winning entries for this year were selected from 626. The award presentation ceremony was held on April 27th.
