Communication is the key to a career in the creative industries in a knowledge-based economy. The School of Communication and Film of HKBU is the only academic institution in Hong Kong offering a full range of communication programmes at degree and postgraduate levels. It is housed in a building specifically designed for the purpose of advancing higher education in communication and the media. The Lee Shau Kee Communication and Visual Arts Building features sound, film, television and broadcast news studios with advanced facilities for editing videos, films, sound tracks and print publications, as well as laboratories for conducting communication research. On its rooftop garden, faculty and students engage in stimulating discussions in a relaxing environment.
