Centre for Media and Communication Research of Hong Kong Baptist University is organizing a two-day summit on the Future of Public Relations in China. Academic scholars, practitioners in public relations and others interested in this topic are welcome to attend the Summit.
This Summit aims to bridge the academic and the professional from the U.S. and Greater China to fully explore the development of public relations in China. It critically examines ways to embrace the new/social media tools to influence constituencies, perspectives to advance an organization's crisis management in facing the complex financial challenges and risks, and viewpoints to step up as a competitive and responsible leader in the industry.
Leading professionals and renowned scholars will address the above issues at the Summit. Public relations gurus and the leading scholars, James Gruing, Professor Emeritus, and Larissa Grunig, Professor Emerita, together with Mr. Alan VanderMolen, President, Asia Pacific from Edelman Public Relations, and Mr. Chris Liu, Partner and Chief Business Officer, Greater China from Ketchum Public Relations are the speakers on the keynote panels.
